Andrew Stager, Pastor

I’m Andy, and just like LeBron James, “I’m just a kid from Akron, Ohio.” My parents brought me for baptism when I was a few days old, and I was named ‘Andrew’ after our Akron church (St. Andrew’s). There, I grew to love worship, the Lord’s Supper, the Psalms, the hymns of the church, and most of all, the Lord Jesus and his grace. I also admired and frequently imitated my pastor, and began to imagine becoming a pastor one day myself.

I was ordained to pastoral ministry in 2009 and served as an associate pastor at First ARP Church in Rock Hill, SC. I then planted Hill City Church in 2011 in Rock Hill, SC with some great friends.

In 2015, my family embarked on a 6-year overseas ministry adventure. The first stop was Yongsan International School of Seoul, in South Korea, where I was a pastor to 100 expat faculty, a teacher to students from over 50 nations, and, meanwhile, a volunteer pastor at an international church. Then in 2018 I was called to be the Senior Pastor of the International Protestant Church of Zurich, and our family moved to Switzerland for an unforgettable season of ministry, language-learning, and fondue. My boys Deacon, Owen, and Wycliffe studied in local German-speaking schools, and my wife Ellie became a math teacher.

I completed my PhD in divinity in early 2022, and I’m completing a Doctor of Ministry program in “the sacred art of writing.” My project is a memoir of my first obsessive year of fly fishing in Colorado.

I like to roast, brew, and share coffee. Ellie and I love making Neapolitan pizzas in our back yard for friends and neighbors. I avidly follow my hometown Cleveland Guardians baseball club and Cavaliers hoops squad.

As Pastor of Saint Patrick, I desire to have the truth, goodness, and beauty of Jesus inhabit my life in both ordinary and extraordinary ways, and to see God’s love in Christ capture the hearts of my family and our congregation, so that others can be welcomed to experience his love and grace, and live for his glory.

Joel & Molly Ansett, Resident Musician & Bookkeeper

Joel and Molly Ansett first met in the fall of 2010 at Grove City College just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They got married 4 years later in August of 2013 and began pursuing their passions together. Molly studied entrepreneurship while at school and upon graduating started her own mobile marketing business called BuzzBurrito, making mobile apps for small businesses, churches, and musicians.

Joel had developed a following as a singer/songwriter during his college years and upon graduating he began to pursue songwriting and performing as a full time career. In October of 2013, Joel and Molly providentially met Shane on a plane ride from Spokane, WA to Denver, CO and upon hearing about St. Patrick’s vision for the city, they felt God’s call to move to Denver. With their shared love for music and starting things they are thrilled to be a part of St. Patrick’s mission to live the Gospel, share the Gospel, and build the Kingdom of God in Denver, Colorado.
