Why are we here?

SAINT PATRICK chuch IS IN DENVER to experience beloved community, to act with generous responsiveness, and to offer vocational encouragement.

Beloved Community

We’re about delight-based engagement in the place of duty-based participation.

Authentic, grace-filled life shared together.

A welcome to all who long to be known and loved.

Jesus enjoyed beloved community with his Father and the Holy Spirit for all eternity.

Jesus came and gave his life in love, inviting us into beloved community with one another, and with God.

Come alongside us as we pursue a life of love and peace together in Jesus. When we gather for worship, as we meet in City Groups, and as we enjoy genuine friendship, we grown in beloved community.

Generous Responsiveness

We marshal resources to meet tangible needs among us and among our neighbors.

We offer care and community to the elderly.

We support our partner churches in the Yucatán.

With our small numbers and lack of administrative bottlenecks, we’ve enjoyed the opportunity to be free and prompt in blessing people with tangible needs. God has allowed us unique opportunities to provide care and a sense of belonging to the aged and to widows in particular, who get to enjoy life with us alongside the very young and the middle-aged.

For our size, we’ve had a substantial ongoing opportunity to serve in and give alongside our friends in Mexico.

Vocational Encouragement

We offer attuned hearts and listening ears for those wrestling with their callings.

We pray and fast, trusting in God's practical and timely guidance and help.

As God leads, we offer bold but humble words of discernment.

Every one of us has a life outside of church. Something significant to which God has called us. We’ve found particular pleasure in hearing each other’s stories, seeing how God leads, and seeking God to lead further.

Bold, risky, faithful, steady faith with respect to our vocations is best ventured in the context of beloved community. We will seldom have the recipe for success, but we’ll always have a listening heart and occasionally a solid word of wisdom.

Join us in the journey.
